Author of 'Before I Get Old and Wrinkly!' and soon-to-be-published 'Master Your Own Destiny', Sheila Steptoe talks to Carl Munson about the power of the mind, as well as visualisation and affirmations.

Using herself as an example, having been through - and triumphed over - major life traumas, Sheila is a firm believer in the 'spiritual side' of life and that 'we are all connected to spirit'.

Sheila talks about it all in a non-scary way for people who are just 'opening up', and is loved for her down-to-earth and 'bite-size' approach.

Sheila gave a great explanation of When I am Old and Wrinkly, a truly inspirational read, and of her reasons for writing the book
The conversation flowed nicely although led by Carl at times. With regards to Master your own Destiny, I have meditated for many many years myself but have never experienced the guidance of angels. I will keep meditating though, by my visulisation of wonderful places I have visited and felt happy and safe in. I guess I should read the book when it comes out in August.
