This is great - from the background music to all the individuals and their viewpoints. Fab stuff - keep it coming!

A great montage of views, Carl (though I loved the funky hammond organ, it was a little high in the mix for my inability to multi-function). It's interesting to know what people expect from it.

how many people are involved in TT Totnes? is it a good number, and how does it work within local politics there - is it a struggle or are they on board? I see the mayor is involved in this piece but I'm not sure what an English mayor is for, they're not like the Mayor's on the continent who have much power of authority.
I go to the website often but it's difficult to get an insight from the outside. Please send in our correspondent with the mic. on the street.

Hi Ian - good questions and the answers are the reason I love TT(T) so much.
This movement appears to have galvanised an incredible diversity of folk into a hugely positive, yet non-threatening force for change.
I've experienced so much negativity, resentment and bitterness within 'world changing' groups.
With TT maybe the secret is in not making anyone wrong. (A good idea in life generally).
The twin drivers, as Rob calls them, of Peak Oil and Climate Change are a de-personalised challenge to meet. This creates - dare I say it (without sounding like a pretentious sociologist) - a kind of post-modern blitz spirit; people feeling an external threat and mucking in together. The proposition is compelling and everyone is invited...
